Iran rejects missile shortage claims, hints at advanced arsenal in reserve

Iran has not yet unleashed the full extent of its missile capabilities in the ongoing conflict with Israel, senior Iranian military official General Ahmad Vahidi stated.

Vahidi, commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), rejected claims that Iran's missile stockpiles are being depleted and emphasized that the country's advanced strategic assets remain largely untapped, Caliber.Az reports, citing Iranian media.

"We have not yet fully utilised our strategic missile capabilities. When we deem it necessary, we will bring our advanced equipment to the battlefield. And the new generation missiles are only part of it," he stated.

Vahidi’s comments come amid a broader conflict that has seen exchanges of missile and drone strikes between Iran and Israel since early June.

The Iranian official dismissed reports suggesting that the Islamic Republic is exhausting its missile reserves, calling them "untrue" and aimed at undermining Iran’s military position.
