Iran seizes assets of 22 over alleged foreign links
Authorities in Iran’s Semnan province have confiscated the assets of 22 individuals accused of maintaining links with hostile foreign states, according to a report by Mizan News, an agency affiliated with the country’s judiciary.
The action was carried out on Tuesday, May 5, in the north-central province, with officials alleging that the individuals had connections to Israel and other countries considered adversaries, and were involved in activities against national security.
According to the report, Iranian authorities identified and froze all assets belonging to the accused, including bank accounts and financial transactions.
