Iran warns US against direct involvement in Israel conflict
Iran’s deputy foreign minister has warned Washington against any direct involvement in the escalating conflict between Iran and Israel, cautioning that Tehran is prepared to respond forcefully if necessary.
Speaking to Iranian state media on June 19, Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi said that “all the necessary options” are available to Iran’s military if the United States intervenes on behalf of Israel, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.
“If the US wants to actively intervene in support of Israel, Iran will have no other option but to use its tools to teach aggressors a lesson and defend itself ... our military decision-makers have all necessary options on the table,” Gharibabadi stated.
He further urged the United States to avoid deepening its involvement, saying, “Our recommendation to the US is to at least stand by if they do not wish to stop Israel’s aggression.”
