Irish premier arrives in Ukraine
Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar has arrived in Ukraine on an official visit. He has already visited Bucha, which has suffered from Russian crimes and met with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
RBC-Ukraine reports, citing the Prosecutor-General’s Office.
During a visit to Bucha, Ukraine's Prosecutor-General Andriy Kostin told the Irish prime minister about "Russian crimes and massacres of civilians during the occupation of the city".
“He noted that the systematic nature of these crimes indicates that the aggressor is persecuting Ukrainians because of their national identity and pro-Ukrainian position. Similar cases are recorded in other liberated cities,” the press service reports.
In particular, the Irish prime minister also met with Volodymyr Zelenskyy. According to the latter, today the parties will hold talks that will focus on security; political interaction; justice for Ukraine; economic interaction between the countries.
“Although Ireland is a neutral country, this neutrality does not mean indifference, and this is very important. Thank you for all your support,” the president of Ukraine wrote.
