Israel conducts limited strike on Iranian radar following missile attack
The Israeli Air Force has conducted a limited strike on an Iranian radar installation located north of Tehran, Israeli officials have confirmed.
The operation was carried out in response to Iran’s launch of two ballistic missiles targeting Israel earlier today, despite the commencement of a ceasefire this morning, Caliber.Az reports, citing Israeli media.
Prior to the strike, US President Donald Trump issued a directive on his social media platform Truth Social, urging restraint: “Do not drop those bombs. If you do it is a major violation. Bring your pilots home, now.”
Following this, Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu engaged in a phone call during which they reportedly agreed on executing a single “symbolic” strike as a measured response to Iran’s breach of the ceasefire.
Subsequently, President Trump reiterated his stance in another post, stating that Israel would refrain from a full-scale attack on Iran, opting instead for a “friendly plane wave.”
