According to the IDF spokesperson, dozens of missile launchers, storage facilities, and additional military sites were destroyed during the strikes.
Among the targeted locations was a site in western Iran that featured a unique missile launch system concealed within shipping containers, highlighting Iran’s efforts to conceal its missile capabilities.
The move comes amid ongoing tensions, as the Iranian regime has reportedly launched hundreds of surface-to-surface missiles towards Israeli territory throughout the conflict.
The IDF emphasised that neutralising these missile threats is a critical part of safeguarding Israeli citizens.
The Iranian missile arsenal reportedly includes weapons with ranges extending several thousand kilometres.
The IDF warned that leaving such missiles in the hands of the Iranian regime represents a significant danger not only to the region but to global security as a whole.
