Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu discharged from hospital following surgery
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been discharged from Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital after undergoing prostate removal surgery earlier this week, his office confirmed.
The procedure was performed on December 29, and Netanyahu briefly left the hospital two days later to cast a critical vote on a budget law. His decisive participation ensured the legislation’s approval. Following the vote, he returned to the medical center to continue his recovery under medical supervision, Caliber.Az reports via Israeli media.
According to a statement from his doctors, Netanyahu’s condition is stable, and he is recovering well from the surgery. They noted that he would require a further recovery period and ongoing medical monitoring.
Upon his discharge, Netanyahu expressed profound gratitude to the medical professionals who cared for him.
Netanyahu is now expected to recuperate while fulfilling his responsibilities as head of government, with continued medical supervision as necessary.
