Japan sanctions 48 individuals, 73 entities from Russia
The Japanese government has announced the freezing of the assets of 48 individuals and 73 legal entities from Russia, as well as one bank.
In particular, the head of the Kalashnikov Concern, Alan Lushnikov, and Russian Deputy Defence Minister Viktor Goremykin, have been targeted by the Japanese sanctions, according to the Japanese Foreign Ministry.
Restrictions also applied to Alexander Kharichev, head of the Presidential Department for Support to the State Council, his deputy Boris Rapoport and employees of the computing centre under the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces.
Among the entities sanctioned were the Ak Bars holding company, the Soyuz federal centre for dual technology, and several institutes and research centres linked to the military-industrial complex. The Wagner PMC and Rosbank were also sanctioned.
