Kremlin confused by Zelenskyy's call for "second peace summit"
The Kremlin is unclear about what Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy means by "the second peace summit," according to Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitriy Peskov.
Commenting on Zelenskyy's suggestion that representatives of the Russian Federation should participate in the next peace summit on Ukraine, Peskov stated that "the first peace summit was not a peace summit at all. Therefore, we should probably first understand what he [Zelenskyy] means," Caliber.Az reports via TASS.
The initial conference on Ukraine took place on June 15-16 in Bürgenstock at the initiative of the Ukrainian side. The final communiqué of the forum was not signed by Armenia, Bahrain, Brazil, Colombia, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Libya, Mexico, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, the Vatican, and South Africa.
