Kyiv responds harshly to calls for negotiations with Russia
Ukraine is not going to enter negotiations with a country that attacks energy infrastructures on a daily basis with the purpose of forcing civilians to freeze in the 21st century.
Mykhailo Podolyak, the Adviser to the Ukrainian President's Office, stated this on his official Twitter account on October 20.
"And again – for all the “particular stubborn ones” - regarding any negotiations.
Russia is purposedly attacking energy infrastructure objects so that in the 21st-century civilians of another country are left to freeze. Do you want to “gift” them part of the country in exchange for a cold genocide?
And will this stop the “Russian man-eating” for long?”, Podolyak wrote.
As Caliber.Az previously reported, the Russian President stated on October 14 during a press conference in Astana that his country “was willing to hold talks” with Ukraine with international mediators.
At the same time, he ordered massive missile attacks that hit multiple Ukrainian critical energy infrastructure objects, leading to massive disruptions in energy supplies.
