Kyiv takes brunt of overnight Russian attack as SOCAR station damaged PHOTO / VIDEO

Russia launched a large-scale missile and drone attack across Ukraine overnight on July 6, leaving at least nine people dead and 47 others injured in Kyiv.

Kyiv Regional Military Administration head Tymur Tkachenko said rescue operations were still underway, while Ukraine’s State Emergency Service reported that emergency crews continued searching affected areas.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko noted that the strikes caused damage to both residential and non-residential buildings in the capital.A SOCAR gas station in Ukraine’s Mykolaiv region was also struck during the attack, resulting in damage to its administrative building.
