Media: Food prices increase in Armenia

Prices on Armenian consumer market increased by 2.3% in April compared to March. In all cities of the republic, consumer prices in April increased by 1.9-2.5 compared to the previous month.

Caliber.Az quotes "Zhoghovurd" Yerevan-based newspaper as saying.

"In Yerevan, consumer prices increased by 2.4%. A total of 3.8% increase in prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages was recorded in the capital of Armenia in April, compared with March, in other cities of the republic this figure was 3.8-4.8%," the newspaper says.
