Media: Israel deploys submarines to restrain Iran, Hezbollah

Israel has deployed submarines in the Mediterranean to deter Iran and Hezbollah.

“Not only US aircraft carriers are deployed in the Mediterranean Sea as part of the efforts to restrain Iran and Hezbollah. The seventh submarine has been deployed in the Mediterranean since the first day of the war,” Israeli Bohl news website reports.

HAMAS is capable of striking Israel not only onshore and from the air, but also offshore. The Islamist group has unmanned underwater vehicles capable of causing damage to Tel Aviv's maritime communications.

Meanwhile, the Israeli military noticed six missiles launched from Lebanon and is returning fire.

“After the initial alert in the Western Galilee, six missiles were launched from Lebanese territory towards Israeli territory. Five missiles fell in open areas, one was successfully intercepted by air defence forces. Israeli Defence Forces are returning fire," the military said.
