White House: US strikes eliminated Iran’s ability to create nuclear bomb
23 June 2025 17:00
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said on June 23 that Iran posed an “imminent threat” and praised President Donald Trump as “the first president with the guts to actually do something about it.”
Speaking to ABC News, Leavitt was unequivocal in her assessment of the recent US military strikes, stating they “took away Iran’s ability to create a nuclear bomb,” Caliber.Az reports via AP.
She added that the administration had a “high degree of confidence” that enriched uranium was being stored at the targeted sites.
“The president would not have launched the strikes if we weren’t confident in that,” Leavitt said.
