Mine explosion injures firefighter in Azerbaijan’s Aghdara

An active fire in Azerbaijan’s Aghdara region set off a landmine on August 21, injuring a firefighter.

The injured responder, identified as Babak Zeynalov, received first aid on site and is being transferred to the Bardin Medical and Diagnostic Centre for further treatment, according to local officials, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

Firefighting operations remain underway as emergency services work to bring the blaze under control.
