Missile attack hits American base in Syria

Five missiles were fired at a US base at the Conoco gas field in Deir ez-Zour province in eastern Syria, a Syrian military source has said.

"Three missiles landed on the territory of the Conoco base, the other two in the immediate vicinity of the base. US helicopters took to the air after the shelling," the source added, Caliber.Az reports, citing foreign media.

US and coalition forces in Iraq and Syria have been under multiple attacks since October 2023, following Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip.
