Moldovan president: Russia resorts to intimidation, threats
Moldovan President Maia Sandu has denied the possibility of holding the negotiations with Russia.
“The Kremlin resorts to its usual tool, namely, threats, intimidation and assassinations,” she said, according to NewsMaker.
President Sandu noted that she sees no way to maintain constructive relations with Russia after a full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
While answering questions about the Kremlin's regular threats, the president said that this is an ordinary tool for Russia.
“Unfortunately, Russia uses such tools, namely, threats, and attempts to intimidate other countries. When we came to power, we stated that we were striving for constructive relations with Russia. After this war started, what relations can be with an aggressor, a country that kills its neighbours?” President Sandu said.
