More Azerbaijani judokas join Grand Slam tournament in Türkiye

Four more Azerbaijani judokas will be competing in the Grand Slam tournament in Antalya, Türkiye on April 1.

Report informs that Hidayat Heydarov (73 kg) in the 1/16 finals will meet with the winner of the pair Alexander Bernd Gabler (Germany) - Erdenebayar Batzaya (Mongolia). In the same weight category, Nurlan Osmanov will face Alexander Raicu (Romania) in the 1/32 finals.

Said Mollai (81 kg) in the 1/16 finals will square off against the winner of the pair Tiziano Falcon (Italy) - Jus Mesilosek (Slovenia). In the same weight category, Zelim Tskaev will lock horns with Nikola Gardashevich (Montenegro).

The tournament will end on April 2. On the first day of the competition, representatives of Azerbaijan failed to win medals.
