Nearly 600 strikes hit Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region in 24 hours, authorities say
Russian forces carried out 595 strikes across Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region over the past day, targeting 21 settlements, according to the regional military administration.
The administration said that the attacks included one air strike on the settlement of Zheleznodorozhne, as well as massive drone activity, with 344 unmanned aerial vehicles deployed, most of them FPV drones. In addition, six strikes from multiple launch rocket systems were recorded, Caliber.Az reports via the administration.
Authorities also said 244 artillery strikes were carried out against various settlements across the region.
As a result of the attacks, officials received 12 reports of damage to residential buildings and civilian vehicles. No civilian casualties were reported, according to the regional administration.
