Drone strikes hit Odesa homes, leaving parts of city without power updated/ photo / video
New drone strikes on civilian infrastructure have been recorded in Ukraine’s Odesa region. As a result of the attacks, residential buildings in Odesa were damaged. There are no reports of fatalities or injuries.
According to the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleg Kiper, strike drones hit residential areas in the evening. One drone crashed into a balcony on the 22nd floor of a high-rise building in a residential complex, while another struck a residential building, damaging the facade and an apartment on the 15th floor, shattering windows and causing damage to property. In both cases, no fires broke out.
It was also reported that civilians affected by the strikes on the Odesa–Reni highway are receiving the necessary assistance. A coordinated humanitarian response headquarters has been set up jointly by the regional and city military administrations, with the participation of the Ukrainian Red Cross. Emergency and municipal services are working at the affected sites.

A large-scale strike has been reported in Odesa, targeting energy and military infrastructure and resulting in widespread power outages across parts of the city.
According to SHOT, dozens of explosions were heard in various areas of Odesa, with significant impacts recorded.
One of the strikes hit a major electrical substation in the Kotovskyi district, leaving roughly half of the city without electricity. Additional disruptions to the power supply were also reported in other areas.
The same source said that “Geran” drones were used to strike railway junctions, a bridge in Zatoka, and several ammunition storage facilities. As a result of the attacks on energy infrastructure, multiple districts experienced a complete blackout, while other parts of the city reported intermittent power interruptions.
