Over million people expected to gather to protest pension reforms in France

In France, more than 1 million people are expected to take part in planned nationwide protests against pension reform on January 31.

According to the Le Figaro newspaper, the number of participants could reach 1.2 million people.

In addition to Paris, demonstrations are expected in cities such as Toulouse, Marseille, Lyon, and Montpellier.

To ensure order during the rallies, the French government is said to involve 11,000 police and gendarmerie officers. About 4 thousand of them will be deployed in the capital Paris.
