Pictures amid candlelight.. and smartphone torch? Armenia exaggerates another fake narrative of "blockade"
Ever since the first day of the protest rally by Azerbaijani activists on the Lachin road, the global Armenian population and those that feel sorry for them spread hysteria and purposedly exaggerate the claim of a “blockade” of Karabakh.
As Caliber.Az reports, photos are circulating on social media platforms, showing the apparent “suffering” of Armenians from the shut-off of electricity. One such picture has been published by Siranush Sargsyan, a journalist from Khankendi on Twitter, portraying a woman called Maryam feeding a child under candlelight.
It has to be noted that this picture is staged – another display of Armenia’s clumsy propaganda. First of all, at least two smartphones are charged: one is being used as a torch on the table, and another one is taking the picture. One should also note, that in order to produce a picture with such high resolution as this one, the relevant lighting is required, which has to be present in the apartment as only candlelight and the torch from the phone would not suffice.
We would also like to highlight, that the leaders of the illegal formation in Khankendi continue to make use of all means to spread a false narrative regarding Azerbaijan apparently holding Armenians of Karabakh under a blockade. And this picture is another “conception” of the Armenian propaganda to slander Azerbaijan and to elicit sympathy from the world community.
Caliber.Az recalls, that amid New Year’s Eve, Armenians in Karabakh shared on social media pictures of another type of situation: festive dinner tables, an abundance of food of alcohol and others. On a YouTube channel by blogger, Tako Tamuni, a resident of Karabakh even said that “everything is fine and we have everything”. What might have happened in just a few days, that Armenians in Khankendi now are sharing pictures showing another reality? This question, of course, is rhetorical.
