Poland ready to distribute US gas across central Europe, president says

Poland is ready to act as a distributor of American liquefied natural gas (LNG) throughout Central Europe and eventually supply it to Ukraine, President Karol Nawrocki said in an interview with Fox Business. 

President Nawrocki said that Poland considers itself a key hub for LNG in Central Europe and is capable of distributing American gas not only domestically but also to other European countries, Caliber.Az reports.

He noted that, thanks to existing interconnectors, Poland is well-positioned to serve as a regional energy distributor. Nawrocki added that once the war in Ukraine ends, Poland would also be able to supply American gas to Ukraine. He emphasised that the country is fully prepared, from an infrastructure standpoint, to handle and distribute US gas.
