Pundit ascribes Azerbaijan to US's strategic partner, not Armenia
In his recent Facebook post, Armenian political scientist Suren Surenyants commented on Azerbaijan's Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov's visit to the United States.
"Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov, who is in Washington, met Sarah Ladislaw, Special Assistant to the US President and Senior Director for Climate and Energy, and discussed long-term issues of energy cooperation. This is the real policy and strategic partnership," Surenyants wrote, according to Caliber.Az.
"And no one will believe in your non-existent democracy. At most, they will say a few 'hungry words' about your 'anti-Russian hysteria'.
In general, Nikol Pashinyan discredits relations between Armenia and the West, basing them solely on primitive anti-Russian sentiments. To be fair, Western interests do not expect anything else from him," Surenyants noted.
