Pundit: Azerbaijan owns enough weapons for any war against Armenia
Armenian political analyst Argishti Kiviryan has said Azerbaijan owns enough armaments to fight any war with Armenia.
"Well look at Armenia, it is actually engaged in collecting flowers, from France, from India, etc. Moreover, at this point it is still unknown whether these weapons can work in combination with each other, because Armenia has been fully armed with Russian weapons," Kiviryan said during an interview with Armenian media, Caliber.Az reports.
"Is it possible to unite them effectively? Won't this be the end of the story of those SU-30s, at the end of which it turned out that they were of a promotional nature? They were never used during the war and served only for Nikol Pashinyan to be photographed in the cockpit.
Now I don’t rule out that the weapons that will be brought, say, the entire ‘Civil Contract’ kindergarten will go and take pictures hugging howitzers. And as soon as the war begins, it will become clear whether the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces managed to obtain effective weapons that work synchronously with each other. Unlike us, Azerbaijan has always, for 30 years, acquired the weapons that it uses most effectively. I say again, the current reserves and types of weapons that Azerbaijan has, are definitely enough for any new war against Armenia,” the political scientist said.
