Qatar, Türkiye ink major military deal

The new agreement reached with Qatar to deploy Qatari Air Force’s Rafale warplanes (which are also in service in Greece) to Türkiye is seen as a major achievement.

The decision, published in the Turkish official newspaper Resmi Gazete, was considered highly noteworthy by both the national and international press, TRT Haber reports.

According to the decision, 36 aircraft and 250 Qatari Air Force servicemen will be able to stay at military bases in Türkiye, which will be determined by the General Staff.
