Russia delivers humanitarian aid to Afghanistan Including 25 tons of flour
Another batch of humanitarian aid from Russia has arrived in Kandahar province, Afghanistan.
Abdul Shakoor Haqqani, head of the region's foreign relations department, confirmed the arrival of the aid, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.
The shipment, which included 25 tons of flour, was delivered by a Russian Emergencies Ministry aircraft. This aid is part of ongoing efforts to support Afghanistan amid its humanitarian needs.
Some 21 tons of food, including vegetable oil and wheat flour, were delivered to Afghanistan on May 16. The humanitarian operation was carried out by the Russian Emergencies Ministry on the instructions of President Vladimir Putin. The cargo was intended for the people of the Afghan province of Baghlan, which was hit by a flood that killed 400 people.
