Russia, US, Ukraine launch talks in Abu Dhabi aimed at crisis resolution
Negotiations between Russia, the United States, and Ukraine have officially commenced in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates’ Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan announced. The discussions are expected to span two days, focusing on fostering dialogue and seeking political solutions to the ongoing Ukrainian crisis, the
“Talks began today in Abu Dhabi and are expected to last two days as part of efforts to strengthen dialogue and seek political solutions to the crisis,” the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in an official statement.
Minister Abdullah bin Zayed expressed hope that the talks would serve as a constructive step toward resolving the conflict. He stressed that durable solutions can only be achieved “through dialogue and de-escalation” and reaffirmed the UAE’s full support for the negotiation process.
The statement also emphasized that the UAE’s role as host reflects international confidence in its leadership and commitment to maintaining peace, while also turning regional challenges into opportunities for the peoples of the area.
