Russian attacks hit multiple Ukrainian regions overnight, causing civilian casualties PHOTO
Several regions of Ukraine came under Russian attack overnight, with civilian areas and regional infrastructure affected, according to local authorities.
In the southern Kherson region, the State Emergency Service reported that rescue workers extinguished eight fires over the past 24 hours following drone strikes. In the city of Kherson, apartments in high-rise buildings and non-residential structures were set on fire, while in the nearby village of Kamyshany in Kherson district, two private homes and two cars were also burned, Caliber.Az reports.
Despite continued risks of further strikes, firefighters managed to contain the blazes. No casualties were reported in the region.
In the south-eastern Zaporizhzhia region, two people were killed and ten others injured in attacks on the city of Zaporizhzhia and surrounding areas, according to regional military administration head Ivan Fedorov.

Further east in the Dnipropetrovsk region, four people were injured as Russian forces carried out nearly 10 attacks on two districts using drones, artillery, and aerial bombs, regional officials said.
