Russian drone, artillery strikes hit Odessa, Dnipropetrovsk regions
Russian forces launched overnight attacks on Ukrainian civilian infrastructure in the Odessa and Dnipropetrovsk regions on December 6.
In Odessa Oblast, Russian strike drones targeted energy facilities, according to Oleg Kiper, head of the regional military administration.
The assault damaged a power facility, but firefighters prevented any blaze from breaking out.
There were no casualties. Power and heating supply were temporarily disrupted, and emergency crews are working to restore services. Critical infrastructure has been switched to generator power.
Meanwhile, in the Dnipropetrovsk region, Russian troops conducted strikes on the Nikopol district using heavy artillery and FPV drones.
The attacks affected the communities of Myrivska, Pokrovska, Marhanetska, and the city of Nikopol itself.
An 11-year-old boy in Nikopol was injured and received immediate medical care. Three additional people were reported injured in the Dnipro district.
Ukrainian authorities continue to monitor the situation, with repair teams addressing damage to essential services and emergency response measures in place.
