Russian FM arrives in Saudi Arabia for ministerial meeting

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has arrived in Saudi Arabia to participate in the ministerial meeting between Russia and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

Lavrov's plane landed at Riyadh Airport at 18:59 (GMT+3), Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media. 

During his visit, Lavrov will take part in the joint ministerial session of the Strategic Dialogue between Russia and the GCC and hold several bilateral meetings. The Gulf Cooperation Council is a regional international organisation that brings together six countries: Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, the UAE, Oman, and Saudi Arabia.
