Schwarzenegger's ex-wife sues half of actor's fortune

Journalist Maria Shriver received half of her ex-spouse Arnold Schwarzenegger's fortune after their divorce.

They equally divided all the savings of the actor, earned since their marriage in 1986 to the beginning of the divorce process in 2011, Gazeta.Ru reports with reference to US Weekly.

That amount also included his pension.

The divorce dragged on because of difficulties with the division of jointly acquired property, which was valued at $400 million. The couple decided to separate after Schwarzenegger began a relationship with the housekeeper, who gave birth to his son. The artist had four children during his marriage to Shriver.
