Serbian deputy PM warns Biden's decision may trigger World War III
Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vulin has said that the decision by US President Joe Biden to authorize the use of American weapons for strikes deep within Russian territory could lead to catastrophic consequences for the entire world, potentially even triggering a third world war.
"There is no Serbian government that, while operating under a technical mandate or after losing an election, would make a decision with such far-reaching consequences for Serbia as the one President Biden has made — allowing the use of American long-range weapons against the Russian Federation, with devastating implications for the entire world. If the goal of this decision is to formally initiate World War III, then it has been made at the most opportune moment," Vulin said, Caliber.Az reports per Russian media.
The deputy prime minister pointed out that, in this context, Donald Trump logically raises the question: "Why is Biden physically and psychologically unfit to be a candidate for US president, however, still able to make decisions that threaten to bring the world to its end?" "When the next time a representative from the US or the EU comments on the state of democracy in Serbia, they should first compare it with the state of democracy in the US. The dying world, dominated by the policies of American Democrats—policy of bombings and colour revolutions—wants the entire world to die along with it," Vulin stated.
He also added that "the outcomes of election in the US are of no decisive importance for American democracy."
On September 12, Russian President Vladimir Putin warned that any potential decision to use Western long-range weapons against Russia would constitute nothing less than direct involvement by the US and other NATO member states in the war in Ukraine.
He stressed that such a move would fundamentally alter the nature and scope of the conflict, and that Russia would make corresponding decisions in response to the threats posed by this escalation.
Putin further emphasised that Ukraine, without Western assistance, would be incapable of launching strikes deep into Russian territory, as doing so requires satellite intelligence and flight missions provided by foreign powers.
