ŞİMŞEK drone successfully tested in Türkiye

The ŞİMŞEK drone, integrated into the Turkish-made ANKA unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), successfully achieved the set goals.

Report quotes the head of the Defence Industry Department of the Turkish Presidential Administration Ismail Demir as saying on social networks.

According to him, the Turkish military-industrial complex continues to develop innovative technologies.

The drone developed by TUSAS has 45 minutes of endurance.

The maximum range is 70 km.

The ŞİMŞEK drone is designed for a variety of tasks, including acting as a probable enemy target when testing domestic weapons systems.
