Azerbaijan hosts NATO delegation for military education review and planning PHOTO
A group of experts on military education, visiting Azerbaijan as part of NATO’s Defence Education Enhancement Program (DEEP), held meetings at the National Defence University and its affiliated specialised military educational institutions.
The meeting at the National Defence University included an analysis of the military education work carried out this year and a discussion of upcoming issues, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Ministry of Defence press service.
During the visit, the NATO delegation also toured the National Defence University’s Institute of Military Administration, the Heydar Aliyev Military Institute, and the Military Medical Faculty. The guests received briefings and had their questions answered.
The meetings provided necessary information on military education programs implemented in the specialised military institutions.
The current status of issues discussed in previous meetings was reviewed, proposals for developing educational programs were heard, and a thorough exchange of views took place regarding expanding the knowledge and skills of teaching staff, organising an electronic learning system, and other related topics.
