Spain vows to provide additional air defence equipment to Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez have discussed a new aid package for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

"We discussed a new package of defence support, containing additional air defence, artillery and anti-drone systems. We are preparing to start negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the EU under the Spanish presidency. Thank you for supporting our aspiration," RBC-Ukraine quotes the Ukrainian president as saying.

Zelenskyy and Sanchez discussed the provision of energy equipment to Ukraine before the winter period, as well as the work and protection of the grain corridor.
