Swedish jets and warships shadow Russian submarine in Baltic strait photo
Swedish Navy warships and aircraft have detected and are currently escorting a Russian Kilo-class submarine in the Baltic Sea, according to NATO classification.
As reported by Caliber.Az, the Swedish Navy shared the information on its official page on X.

“Yesterday, a Russian submarine entered the Baltic Sea through the Great Belt Strait. Swedish fighter jets and naval vessels intercepted the submarine in the Kattegat and are now tracking it,” the Swedish Navy stated.
The operation is described as routine and is conducted in close coordination with NATO allies.
At this stage, the precise identification of the Russian submarine has not been confirmed.
