Syria condemns Israeli actions, citing violations of sovereignty
The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has strongly condemned Israel’s actions, which it says involved incursions into Syrian territory in the provinces of Quneitra and Daraa, as well as artillery shelling of those areas, according to an official statement.

“These actions have led to the intimidation of the civilian population and constitute a flagrant violation of Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as a further breach of international law, the Charter of the United Nations, and the 1974 Disengagement Agreement.
The Ministry emphasises that the continuation of such actions undermines efforts aimed at strengthening security and stability, exacerbates the suffering of civilians in the targeted areas, and signals further escalation and rising tensions in the region.
The Syrian Arab Republic calls on the United Nations and the international community to fulfil their responsibilities, take necessary measures to stop these repeated violations, and ensure compliance with the Disengagement Agreement, thereby protecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Syrian Arab Republic,” the ministry’s statement read.
