Syria, Türkiye discuss deepening law enforcement training cooperation PHOTO
Hussein Salman, Director of the Training and Qualification Department of the Syrian Interior Ministry, met with a Turkish Interior Ministry delegation led by Gökhan Demirtola, Head of Foreign Relations Department, to discuss expanding cooperation in law enforcement training and rehabilitation.
Officials reviewed existing training programs, exchanged expertise and instructors, and discussed joint efforts to enhance staff professionalism and operational efficiency, Caliber.Az reports via the Syrian Interior Ministry’s Telegram channel.
Discussions focused on coordination in key security specialisations of mutual interest and strengthening technical and training communication channels to meet modern standards.
Both sides emphasised the importance of reinforcing institutional ties and strategic partnerships, noting that joint initiatives will improve personnel qualifications and the effectiveness of Syrian law enforcement agencies.
The meeting is part of the ongoing Syria–Türkiye collaboration on specialised training programs and knowledge exchange to boost security sector professionalism.
