Three blasts occur in Afghanistan
Three explosions occurred almost simultaneously on June 12 in different provinces of Afghanistan.
The target of two of them were supporters of the radical Taliban movement that came to power in the country, TASS reports, citing Afghan agency Aśvaka.
At least four civilians were injured when a roadside mine exploded in Kunduz province. An explosive device was detonated near a police station equipped by the Taliban in Faizabad, the administrative centre of Badakhshan province. According to the report, a car carrying radical movement militants was blown up in Kunar province.
Local authorities appointed by the Taliban have not commented on the last two incidents, there has been no information about victims or injured.
After the United States announced its decision to withdraw its armed forces from Afghanistan in the spring of 2021, the Taliban launched a large-scale operation to seize control of the country. The Taliban entered Kabul without a fight on August 15, the same year. On September 6, the radicals declared control over all of Afghanistan, and the next day announced the composition of the interim government, the legitimacy of which has yet to be recognized by any country.
