Three policemen killed in shootout with terrorists in Ingushetia
Three policemen have been killed in a shoot-out with Chechen militants in Ingushetia.
Seven other persons were said to be wounded in the skirmish, the Russian television channel REN-TV reported.
According to Telegram channel “112”, among the dead are a senior district police officer and seconded employees of the Interior Ministry.
Earlier on April 6, an armed clash was said to spark between law enforcers and militants in the village of Zyazikov-Yurt in the Malgobeksky district of Ingushetia. The law enforcers reportedly blocked the criminals in one of the houses.
The telegram channel 112 said that inside the blocked house there are four militants wanted for the attack on the traffic police post on March 27. The gunfight has been going on all night.
The Federal Security Bureau (FSB) special forces, supported by the Interior Ministry and Rosgvardia, have taken on the terrorists, the Telegram channel specifies.
