Gas explosion destroys house in Russia’s Belgorod region, one injured Video

A domestic gas explosion destroyed a private house in the village of Dragunskoye in Russia’s Belgorod region on December 17, local authorities said.

According to the Belgorod Region Prosecutor’s Office, the blast completely demolished the property. A 20-year-old local resident was injured in the explosion and was hospitalised with burns in a specialised department of the regional hospital, Caliber.Az reports. 

Following the incident, an investigation was launched on the instructions of the regional prosecutor. The prosecutor’s office will assess compliance with housing and communal services legislation and safety requirements for the use of gas equipment.
