Turkish minister: Situation in South Caucasus - chance for Armenia too

Turkish National Defence Minister Hulusi Akar has said that negotiations on Azerbaijan’s Karabakh region have been held for 30 years, however, the mediators have achieved nothing.

“As a result, our Azerbaijani brothers launched hostilities and liberated their lands from [Armenian] occupation within 44 days. From the point of view of peace in the South Caucasus, this is a chance for Armenia as well,” Akar said during the 13th Ambassadors' Conference in Türkiye’s Ankara city, APA reports.
