Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has sent a congratulatory message to Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan following the victory of his Civil Contract party in the parliamentary elections.

Erdogan extended his congratulations on behalf of himself and the Turkish people, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.

“On behalf of my nation and on my own behalf, I sincerely congratulate you on the success of the Civil Contract party, which you led, in the parliamentary elections in the Republic of Armenia on June 7, 2026, and wish you success in forming a government for the third time.

I am fully confident that your strategic vision for establishing long-term peace and stability in the region and ensuring the necessary cooperation in this direction will be successfully implemented. Taking this opportunity, I once again wish you robust health and well-being, and prosperity and happiness for the people of Armenia,” the message read.

Separately, Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif also sent a congratulatory message to Nikol Pashinyan, expressing readiness to strengthen bilateral relations.

Sharif said he looks forward to cooperating with Pashinyan to enhance Pakistan–Armenia ties, and emphasized that Pakistan attaches great importance to peace and constructive cooperation between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
