Türkiye unveils AZAT FPV kamikaze drone PHOTO
Türkiye’s Robit Teknoloji company has unveiled a prototype of a new kamikaze drone that allows the pilot to see the drone during flight.
A prototype of the new AZAT FPV drone, which is in the final stages of development, was showcased at the Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition and Conference (DIMDEX 2024), according to Anadolu Agency.
The drone can be used both for reconnaissance and for hitting enemy targets. The weight of the drone with a full load is two kilogrammes and is capable of carrying cargo weighing up to 800 grammes.
The maximum flight duration is 20 minutes. At the same time, AZAT FPV will be able to transmit data at a distance of up to 2.5 kilometres in real time.
The first test flight of the new drone will be made soon. However, the exact date of testing and launch of mass production is still unknown.
