Türkiye conducts major operation against cybercriminals VIDEO
Turkish authorities have carried out a large-scale operation targeting cybercriminals across 19 provinces, resulting in the seizure of transactions totalling one billion Turkish liras ($25 million).
The operation, announced by Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya via his social media account on platform X, led to the detention of 66 suspects involved in various cybercrime activities, Caliber.Az reports.

“In the past week, as part of the fight against cybercrime, 66 suspects were detained, with transaction volumes on their accounts amounting to 1 billion liras,” Yerlikaya said. “Twenty-seven suspects were arrested, and judicial control measures were imposed on 31 others. Procedures regarding the remaining suspects are ongoing.”
