Ukraine ranks 15 in Global Firepower Index
The Global Firepower (GFP) Index has ranked Ukraine’s military 15 among the global military powers.
For 2023, Ukraine entered the Top 20 among 145 countries picked for the annual GFP review. The nation holds a score of 0.2516 (a score of 0.0000 is considered 'perfect'), according to Global Fire Power.
As Ukraine continues its defence against Russia, it has increased its GFP index score for the current year as a result of its response, as well as financial and material backing from the West, and introduction of new key categories which benefit its overall placement on the list.
In the GFP ranking, Ukraine outpaced Israel (18th place) and Poland (20th place). The top five countries with the world’s strongest army are the United States, Russia, China, India, and the United Kingdom.
