Ukraine’s military: Drone strikes disabled over 40% of Russia's oil refining capacity
Ukraine's military said its long-range drone campaign has significantly disrupted Russia's oil refining sector, claiming that strikes have disabled nearly 43 per cent of the country's oil refining capacity and caused billions of dollars in damage.
In a statement, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said Ukrainian drones have disabled 42.74% of the design capacity of Russia's oil refining industry, Caliber.Az reports.

According to the General Staff, Ukrainian Defence Forces struck eight Russian oil refineries over the past month and destroyed or severely damaged more than 60 storage tanks containing crude oil and petroleum products.
The Ukrainian military estimated that the attacks have inflicted total losses of approximately $13.5 billion on Russia's oil refining industry since August 2025.
Ukraine has increasingly targeted Russia's energy infrastructure with long-range drone strikes, arguing that attacks on refineries and fuel storage facilities are intended to reduce Moscow's ability to finance and sustain its military operations.
