Ukraine urges partners to double support to defeat Russia rapidly

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has called on partners to double their support because it is necessary to gain victory faster.

The ministry also thanked the allies for huge military, financial, political, legal, humanitarian, and energy assistance, as well as sanctions against Russia and work on a tribunal for criminals, RBC-Ukraine reports citing the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.

“At this important stage of the war, we call on our international partners to redouble their comprehensive and vital support for Ukraine to accelerate Ukrainian victory,” the statement said.

According to the statement, further consolidation of efforts around the peace formula of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, “the implementation of which will ensure a just and lasting peace in Ukraine and prevent the recurrence of such aggression in the future, is important”.

“The complete withdrawal of Russian troops from the Ukrainian territory, the restoration of its internationally recognised borders, the payment of reparations for all damage caused by Russia and bringing those who gave criminal orders and those who carried them out to international criminal responsibility must be the invariable prerequisites for the peace,” the statement said.

The foreign ministry also added that Ukraine will continue moving towards victory over Russian aggression and full membership in the EU and NATO.
