Ukrainian forces confirm strikes on Russian strategic facilities

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has confirmed that Ukrainian forces inflicted damage on several key Russian facilities, including the aircraft repair plant in Taganrog—where the experimental A-60 aircraft was likely hit—and the Molniya drone production enterprise. Ukrainian forces also struck the Sheskharis oil terminal in Novorossiysk and the Tuapse oil refinery in Krasnodar Krai.

According to the General Staff, the operations targeted “a number of strategic objects of the occupiers” as part of efforts to reduce Russia’s military-economic and offensive capabilities, Caliber.Az reports, citing Ukrainian media.

“On the night of November 25, units of the Missile Forces and Artillery, in cooperation with the Special Operations Forces, coastal missile forces of the Navy, and Unmanned Systems Forces, using Bars jet UAVs and Neptune cruise missiles, successfully struck several strategic objects of the Russian aggressor,” the report stated.

In Taganrog, Rostov Region, multiple explosions and significant fires were observed at the G.M. Beriev Aircraft Repair Plant (TANTK) and the UAV production facility Atlant Aero. The repair plant also performs modernization and maintenance of A-50 AWACS aircraft and Russian Tu-95MS strategic bombers.

In Novorossiysk, preliminary reports indicate that oil loading and unloading equipment (standers) and a launcher from the S-400 air defense system were damaged at the Sheskharis oil terminal. The full extent of the destruction across all targeted facilities is still being assessed.

“The joint combat work of all components of the Defense Forces on important targets of the Russian armed forces will continue until the complete cessation of Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine. To be continued! Glory to Ukraine!” the General Staff emphasized.
